Maddie turned four and a half this week. I feel like her whole little 4 and half years of life have just flown right by us. Maddie is becoming such a sweet, independent, thoughtful, sensitive and feisty little girl. She amazes us every day at the things she says and the thoughts that she has. Maddie is a wonderful little ballerina and expresses herself a lot through dance and music. I know her Father in heaven takes great delight in watching her grow and learn.
We love you Maddie, we are blessed beyond measure to be your parents. We can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for you.

Two and a Half!!!
Our sweet wyatt turned 2 1/2 on Saturday...it is so hard to believe that 6 months ago he was turning two. Wyatt is so full of energy and a joy to be around every day. He has the sweetest, most humorous and playful personality. He adores his big sister and wants to do whatever she is doing. Wyatt is still very much into cars...but also loves dinosaurs, tools, firetrucks, playing outside, and books. He LOVES to sing and dance...he sang his first song "Row Row Row your Boat" when he was 15 months old and has probally learned a new song every month since then. His favorites right now are "This little light of mine" and "Sweet Dreams" by the Dixie Chicks. He is talking like crazy...his vocabulary has really blossomed over the past 6 months.
Here are some Wyatt-isms:
Mommy, that a buzozers.(bulldozer)
That is so nummy, it my favorite.
I gotta go pee pee(yes...we are potty training and he is doing awesome!)
Mommy, there a yake, a really big yake. (lake)
I want to go to mommy school. (soon little guy)
Roni, Roni, watch me Roni. (his sweet name for Maddie)
That a big truck, a big red truck.
Mommy, I want to see an abulance. (ambulance)
We love you Wyatt and are blessed to be your parents. You make every day an adventure and so much fun!

Echo
Maddie had her first ballet recital this week with the church. She has been practicing for 8 weeks and was just so adorable Wednesday night. They danced to a version of "This little light of mine". I will try to post the video later today.
Figuring out where to stand at practice
Cookie Bouquet from Nana and Papaw that she got on the day of the recital. She begged to eat some before and after the show.
Flowers she got from Daddy, Mommy and Wyatt, Grandma and Grandad and her best buddy Noah.
"Let your light shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in Heaven." Matthew 5:14 & 16

Another Zoo Trip...
The whole family went to the zoo this past saturday. It was the perfect day to let the kids play outside and they never grow tired of seeing all the animals. Can't wait to make more trips this summer!

Life Group Easter Celebration
Our Life Group has a traditional Easter Egg hunt on Easter Sunday evening. Last year, Wyatt loved putting the eggs in his basket and taking his time finding the eggs. This year was quite busy with him right up there in competition with the big kids. We are so blessed to have these friends and even more blessed to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior together.

Easter Pics...my what a differance a year makes!
I took Maddie and Wyatt's spring pictures this weekend in their Easter clothes. Nick and I had fun looking at how much they have grown in a year. Maddie's changes are very subtle but we think Wyatt looks so much older now!

Disney on Ice
My parents treated us to Disney on Ice on Saturday night. The kids had a blast and were completely spoiled (I think Nana and Papaw bought out the entire gift shop!)
Wyatt and his Mickey Mouse hat.
Princess Tiana...Maddie was thrilled when they came out.Posted by themac's at 3:33 PM 0 comments
