Christmas Eve

We have a whole lot of traditions that happen when we get home from our Christmas eve party. Doak was WAY past tired so we sent him to bed while Maddie and Wyatt put on their pj's.

First...we put out the reindeer food

making sure it got ALL over the yard

next we read our "Elf on the Shelf" book one last time

Then we read "The Night Before Christmas"...during which the kids heard Santa's sligh bells and a "HoHoHo"...so the quickly said their prayers and got ready for bed

This picture is out of order....but Toonin wrote the kids a letter and gave them a movie before flying back to the North Pole with Santa

Setting out the Christmas cookies

Family Christmas #3

We spent Christmas eve with Nick's side of the family. The kids always have such a blast with their cousins Jake and Jordan. There is always lot of good food and lots of laughs!

Family Christmas #2

We celebrated our second family Christmas with Nick's parents the night before Christmas Eve.

Grandma and Grandad with the grandkids

Polar Express Sleep Over

We had our nephew, Carson, over last week to watch the Polar Express with us and to also spend the night. The kids had a blast and I am thinking we need to make this a new tradition.

cinnamon roll breakfast...yummy!

Santa time!

We took the kids to Christmas lane to visit with Santa. Doak did great for his first time to sit in the big guy's lap and we loved seeing the Christmas lights.

He REALLY wanted that beard!

Talking to the elves

Wyatt's School Christmas Party

It is so nice to walk down the hall to join Wyatt in his Christmas party. He LOVES his class and he is blessed with the same great teachers Maddie had.

Family Christmas #1

We kicked off our Christmas celebrations in Dallas with my mom's side of the family the weekend before Christmas. My most favorite tradition is the Christmas sing-a-long we have after opening the gifts.

The kids "helping" meemaw play the piano....something her grandkids were never allowed to do :)

Doak did great! ....but got very tired and ended up taking a little nap on daddy

Maddie, Sutton and Wyatt playing the piano and singing with MeeMaw

Maddie really liked "playing the bells"

My dad dancing with Aunt Doris

Wyatt got to sing a solo too "All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth"
