First Hair Cut

So we just had to do it, cut Wyatt's hair that is. When we got home yesterday it was so crazy. His hair is so fine and so corse that it was in huge knots in the back and just crazy on top. So nick got the clippers and I held him. He looks about one now, so handsome and so much older. Yes....I started to cry. Good thing is...under all that wavy hair was hair like Maddie used to have before it was long and curly. So chances are we will have a curly headed boy too. How will I ever get their hair done in the mornings.

Memorial Day Weekend

7 Months Old

Sweet Wyatt turned 7 months old on Saturday. I just can't believe how fast time has flown by. He can now sit unsupported...although he will teeter totter to get a toy... and coos and growls at us all the time. He is eating 3 meals of baby food now and is as healthy as can be. He weighs 21bs. 6 oz and is 26 1/4 inches long.

Farm Girl

This past weekend, Nick and his dad had to go to the farm to move cattle. Maddie loves to go to the farm so they took her along. Here are some pics of our farm girl.

Welcome Home Soldier

My little brother came home Thursday evening from Iraq. Words cannot express how thankful I am for his safe return. Wyatt and I flew to Dallas Wednesday morning and then drove to Georgia with my mom and dad. We arrived in Georgia at 3:30am Thursday morning and spent the day relaxing and patiently waiting for his plane to come in. I am heading back to Abilene tomorrow. Our plane should land around 4:15pm...just is time to spend some of my mother's day with sweet maddie and wyatt. Here are some pictures from out trip.

Happy Birthday, Nick!!!!

Today is my sweet husband's 28th birthday. Maddie woke him up by singing Happy Birthday to him and then we noticed she had pink eye. Nick has stayed home with her most of the morning. So the day didn't start out great BUT tonight we are going to dinner at the Olive Garden (Nick's favorite restaurant) with some of our life group friends to celebrate. I also bought him a delicious cake from McKays to top off the evening. Oh yeah and then tomorrow night we are having a family dinner with his parents. So here's to Nick...the world's best husband, most amazing dad and best friend anyone could have!!
