Christmas morning

We set Maddie's alarm for 7:00am....but at about 6:45 we heard Maddie say, "Santa came to see me!" So we opened her door and Nick said, "Maddie, Santa came to see you." She said, "I know and he brought me scarfs, a puppy house, and a puzzle"....etc. She had peeked around the corner and had seen everything out...she just couldn't wait for the alarm.

Christmas Eve Traditions

I LOVE traditions...especially at Christmas. This year we added some new ones (Christmas cookies and Santa's sleigh bells) It makes our Christmas Eve with the kids magical!

Christmas Eve Party

We spend Christmas eve with Nick's family....it is so much fun to have all of the family together....even though we thought the weather would affect that this year...it didn't!

Christmas Cookies

We decided to make Santa's cookies this year. I got Maddie a super cute apron and we went to work after playing in the snow. She had so much fun and couldn't wait to decorate them.

The night before Christmas Eve is snowed here. We were all shocked to wake up Christmas eve morning with 6-7 inches of snow on the ground. It was/is beautiful and the kids Loved playing in it.

Family Christmas...Part 1

So we did our first "Family Christmas Party" on Saturday with my mom's side of the family. We went to my Aunt Sharron's house for the festivities and had a blast!

Erica (my brother's girlfriend) was given a fun Christmas shirt by my mom. My brother was in on the gag and Erica was such a trooper!

This was the first year we played "Games" ...we had a snowball fight with socks and a Trivia game but this one by far was the best....we split up in teams and had to blow up balloons and stuff them into pantie house to make antlers. Nick's team won!
