Happy Valentine's Day!!!

We had a fantastic Valentine's celebration at our house. Here are my top 10 favorite things about today:

1. getting beautiful flowers from my hubby
2. watching Maddie's face light up when she saw her roses from her daddy this morning
3. our "together" gift---we bought new couches this year!
4. surviving 3 valentine's class parties
5. coming home to a cookie bouquet from my parents
6. the kids opening all of their valentine's gifts from their friends
7. our family date night to Mr. Gaitti's
8. reading my sweet little guy his Valentine book before bed
9. going to the Dr. to hear that Doak is doing great!
10. hearing "i love you" before I tucked my babies in bed

Life is SWEET!

Snow Day!!!!

We have been waiting for a snow day since around November...the kids were so excited when we told them a lot of snow was headed our way last night. So with temps below 20...we bundled them up for about 10 minutes of playing in the snow. They had a blast and I got some really cute pictures of them!

We're going to the Zoo!

So I know we live in Texas and the weather is crazy...but a 70 degree day in January is just plain crazy! The fact that this 70 degree day fell on a day off/holiday sure didn't hurt either. So we decided to take advantage of a beautiful day and take the kids to the zoo. The kids had a blast and has us eager for spring like weather to arrive permanently!

Happy New Year!

2010 was full of a lot of wonderful memories and is even more of a reminder of how wonderful and amazing God has been to our family. We have been so blessed! Here are just a few pictures from this past year:

January 2010

February 2010--our nephew Carson's first night to stay with us.

March 2010--giving grandma kisses

April 2010--- cousin picture in the bluebonnets (Carson 21 months; Wyatt 2 1/2; Maddie 4 1/2)

May 2010---Memorial Day we took the kids to say thank you. We also celebrated my brother James coming home from Iraq.

June 2010--I set a goal for myself to run a 5k...with the help of my friends and family and especially my sister in law, Kristi, I ran a 5k the first weekend of June.

July 2010

August 2010--Maddie heading to her first day of KLT for the last year before Kindergarten.

September 2010---we signed Maddie up for soccer...she loved goofing off with her best bud Noah.

October 2010---the month Maddie turned 5 and Wyatt turned 3...they were Buzz Lightyear and Wonder Woman for Halloween.

November 2010--We were blessed to have my brother with us for Thanksgiving and enjoyed being with extended family in Dallas.

December 2010---We wrapped up the year with a magical December. Teaching the kids about the true meaning of Christmas and getting to be around lots of family and friends.

We can't wait to see what 2011 holds for the McMillon's. We are anxiously awaiting the birth of our third baby, Doak, and everything he will bring to our lives. Stay tuned and keep following our blog to stay up to date with us!

New Years Eve

We invited our friends, The Kent's, Nick's parents and his sister's family over for New Years Eve. It was a wonderful and relaxing evening...just our style!
