11 months

My little man is growing up too fast! I can not believe he will be 1 soon and the birthday planning is well under way. This month Doak is cruising like a champ and we have even caught him standing on his own before he come tumbling down. He is such a sweet baby and smiles all the time and "talks" to everyone. He is slimming down too...loosing almost 2 lbs the past two months. He adores Maddie and Wyatt and tries desperately to keep up with them. They are equally taken with and try to include him in everything they do.

Spring Break

We had such a great Spring Break around here. I planned an outing for every day of our week. I loved being at home with my babies and it made me very anxious for summer to get here.

Monday: we went to the zoo!

Tuesday: I took Maddie and Wyatt to see "The Adventures of Arrietty"

Wednesday: I took the boys to the Grace Museum to play while Maddie spent the day with Grandma

Thursday: We went with Carson to see "The Lorax"

Friday: We went to Chick fil a for lunch and played for a while and finished it up with ice cream!

10 months old!

Mister doak started crawling just 1 week shy of being 10 months. He became a really good and fast crawler within a week or two and now there is just no slowing him down. Poor guy struggled with ear infections and asthma attacks almost the whole month but he was such a trooper and hardly ever complained. He has started waving...only when he feels like it and he also completely on solid foods for lunch, dinner and snacks. We love you Doakie!

Meeting Mason!

Our sweet nephew, Mason, arrived on February 20th. He is just the sweetest little guy and we can't wait to watch him grow up. Maddie, Wyatt and Doak are thrilled to have a new cousin!

Veggie Tales Live!

We took the kids to see Veggie Tales Live at the end of February. They had a blast and sang a long to the songs they knew.

Daddy/Daughter Dance

Nick took Maddie to a Daddy/Daughter dance right before Valentine's. She was excited to get all dressed up to have dinner and dancing with her daddy. Maddie is very much a "daddy's girl", so this was a real treat for her. They had so much fun together!
