An Early Thanksgiving

This weekend we went to my parents house to celebrate an early Thanksgiving with my brother. He has been home on leave for two weeks and this was our chance to see him and the rest of the family for Thanksgiving. We had a great time...especially the kids. I love that they have cousins their own age to play with and lots of aunts and uncles to love on them. It was such a wonderful day!

Saturday night was pretty low key for us but we had a lot of fun! First we headed to Nick's parents house, then to Webb's mom's house and then Nick and Maddie went treating at a few houses that we knew. The kids had a great time dressing up and running around.

Fall Carnival!!!

It has become a tradition to go to Grandma and Grandad's church for a Fall carnival. This year, since both the kids are a little older, they really enjoyed the games and the festivities. Here are some pics from a very fun evening!

Happy Birthday Maddie!!!

Our sweet girl, Maddie, is turning 4 today. That is so amazing to me...where did all that time go? I can so vividly remember the day she was born...the first time I held her...the first time she said "MaMa" and the list goes on. Maddie has grown so much and is becoming such an amazing little girl. I always knew that God has big plans for her...but the gifts he has given her are wonderful, far beyond what I imagined.
Maddie is a light to others, a true friend, a sensitive spirit,the best big sister, the most imaginative little girl...
She brings pure joy to us every day and we can't wait to see what this next year holds for her. Happy Birthday Maddie, mommy and daddy love you more!
