And the Christmas Season is.....OFF!!!!

Last night we put the Christmas tree up and all of our decorations. The kids had a blast...even Wyatt who "helped" put some ornaments on...and took a few off as well. It is going to be a GREAT Christmas season!

Wyatt touching the tree.

Putting the star on top of the tree.

They are so stinkin cute!

My sweet girl.

Big hugs!

Talking it over...he had lots to say about the tree.

Daddy's girl

Last year, we started the tradition of Elf on the Shelf...our elf "Toonin" is back and watching to see if the kiddos are being good or bad! :-) ( he is between Maddie and Santa)

Daddy reading the book "Elf on the Shelf" to the kids.

They listened to every word!

I'm a Big Boy Now!

Yesterday, we moved Wyatt into his big boy bed. He did so good at nap time and really good at bed time. He only fell off the bed once at 5:00 this morning....Nick walked in his room and Wyatt said, "Mommy,Daddy I ok!" He looks so big in his bed and we are so excited for this new independence he has found.

Thanksgiving

Here are some pics from our Thanksgiving...we went to Nick's parents house this year and enjoyed a yummy lunch and good times with the family.

Thankful

This past year, I have been thankful for moments. It's why I do photography on the side...I love capturing moments for others and feel blessed when I capture them for myself. So here are a few moments I am thankful for over the past year.

Wyatt, Maddie and Carson.....we are blessed with the cutest nephew and perfect playmate for our kiddos.

May 2009

May 1st, my brother deployed to Iraq. I posted this picture because right before I took it he was trying to hold in a laugh while saying, "I am trying to get in the zone." Still a funny guy even when faced with leaving his family and friends behind.

Saying goodbye...hugging my mom...but I love this picture even more for capturing my dad in the background.
