Once Upon a Christmas Eve Ballet

This past Sunday, my mother in law took Maddie, my sister in law Kristi and I to see a ballet put on by the dance studio where Maddie takes ballet. (she can be in the show when she is 5) Maddie LOVED it and it was a great way to enjoy the Christmas season.

Christmas Caroling

Today, Maddie's class went Christmas Caroling at a nursing home in town and I got to tag along. She had only practiced a couple of times but she sang right along like she knew all the words. The residents sure enjoyed seeing 50, 3-5 year olds singing their little hearts out and it was a blessing to see my little girl making someone's day a little brighter.

Dancing along to the music.

listening to the jingle bells....after seeing the "Polar Express"...she always holds jingle bells up to her ears.

What a nice treat!

We came home yesterday to some yummy treats, left for us by our sweet friends the Ellison's. Abbye, makes some of the best sweet treats and we are so thankful to have her and her husband and kiddos to walk through life with.
Thanks Abbye for giving my kids a sugar rush and for being so thoughtful!

Cute little reindeer cupcakes!

Wyatt LOVED the reindeer marshmallow on top.

Maddie ate ALL of her dinner so she could eat the yummy cupcake.

The cutest little guys....

Our nephew, Carson.

He looks a little michevious, doesn't he?

The boys doing what they do best....playing with trucks!

Family Night at Ballet

Maddie had "Family Night" at ballet last week. She was such a show off...and she really showed up how much she has improved. She LOVES to dance and really looks forward to going every week.

And the Christmas Season is.....OFF!!!!

Last night we put the Christmas tree up and all of our decorations. The kids had a blast...even Wyatt who "helped" put some ornaments on...and took a few off as well. It is going to be a GREAT Christmas season!

Putting the star on top of the tree.

They are so stinkin cute!

My sweet girl.

Big hugs!

Talking it over...he had lots to say about the tree.

Daddy's girl

Last year, we started the tradition of Elf on the Shelf...our elf "Toonin" is back and watching to see if the kiddos are being good or bad! :-) ( he is between Maddie and Santa)

They listened to every word!
