We went to my great-aunts house this year for Thanksgiving. It was a mini-reunion for the Barrett family. The kids had a blast playing with their cousins and we had fun catching up with some family that we don't get to see very often.

I love everything about Christmas...I love the feeling in the air, the celebration of the birth of our Savior and the sounds and sights there are around every corner. One of my favorite things it to design my own Christmas cards using what else but cute family pictures of my two adorable kids. I have used Shutterfly for a long time to make prints of my favorite pictures, I have also used to them to make albums for myself and others. In the past I have used their site to create amazing Christmas cards and have been amazed at how easy they are to design and how quickly they are delivered. Their products are wonderful and everything about their website is user-friendly. When I saw on a friends blog that I could get 50 free prints by blogging about their company, I was so excited! Their Christmas card designs are super cute and I can't wait to design our Christmas card for 2010. It is so easy and you should look at their website to what all you can create this holiday season.

We kicked off our Thanksgiving on Saturday with lunch at Nick's parents house. We all had a blast visiting with family...and made us eager for Christmas to get here so we can do it all again!
The kiddie table...Maddie, wyatt and Hunter
It was so warm that day, so we let the kids go outside to play.Posted by themac's at 1:24 PM 0 comments
We had "Family Night" this past Saturday with our Life Group. I didn't take one single picture of the adults but the kids had a blast playing together and I took some cute ones of them.

Every year we pick about 10 houses to go trick or treating at. I have never liked the idea of going nuts on Halloween...and have really tried to make the day about dressing up and going to see a few friends. The kids were so excited to put on their costumes once again and we had a bast visiting our friends around town.
Our first stop was Grandmas house to eat a yummy dinner! Here are the cousins looking adorable as always!
