Perfect Evening

This evening, Nick was feeling much better after battling the swine flu, and the kids were a little tired of being cooped up in the house, so we all decided to go outside and enjoy the nice cool evening weather. I took these pictures with my cell phone so they aren't the clearest.
I love evenings like this....

Wyatt had just finished saying, "Manny (Maddie) hup (help) me!"

My kids are so sweet to each other...this is my favorite thing about having two kids, they truly love one another.

Nick and I laughed so hard when we saw this picture. Nick was bouncing a ball off the roof and the kids were watching to see if it would hit mommy. But by the look on Maddie's face you would have thought she was seeing the second coming!

Fall Pics

Check out all of Maddie and Wyatt's Fall Pics by clicking on my photography blog on the right...My Cup Runneth Over Photography.

State Fair of Texas

We went to the state fair this past weekend with my parents. I have been going to the fair since I was very young and I couldn't wait for wyatt and maddie to experience it. It was a little chilly that day, so we bundled up and headed out for some good times.

Nana and Maddie waiting on the train. We took the train to the fair this year so we didn't have to try and find a parking spot. It dropped us off right in front and we were able to leave our car in the parking garage where my parents work downtown.

Maddie really enjoyed the train ride.

So did wyatt! He waved at everything and enjoyed seeing all the cars as we went by.

Maddie test driving a car...she wanted to sit in every car in the auto buildings.

Maddie, Wyatt and Daddy sneaking a pic with the Marine Band.

We really enjoyed listening to the band and maddie clapped along to every song.

The is the Ford robot. It waved at Maddie when she waved at him and he gave her the peace sign and she did it back.

BIG TEX!!!

Riding on one of the rides.

Swinging!

Maddie, Daddy and Wyatt on the Carousal.

She thought the horses were pretty.

Maddie kept telling us she wanted to ride the ferris wheel. I didn't think she knew how tall it was so I let her take a peak and she totally decided against it. Maybe next year! :-)

It was pretty late when we were leaving...as you can see from wyatt's face...but we had a blast!

The West Texas Fair and Hot Air Balloon Fest

We have busy little bees around our house...so much so that I have been too exhausted every night to upload these pictures. They start with the Fair...sorry there aren't more but I kinda forgot I brought my camera until we were about to leave. The kids had a blast...it was nice and cool the evening we went and we could have walked around for hours had it not been for two sleepy kiddos.
Then, this past weekend we went to the Hot Air Balloon Fest. Friday night we were able to see the balloons "glow" and then Saturday we were able to let the kids some of the other stuff too.
So here are the last 1-2 weeks in pictures.

Wyatt was a little afraid of the animals at first.

But of course typical boy...he warmed right up!

Daddy helping him feed the mule.

Eating some yummy popcorn....This was the only thing Maddie BEGGED for...and we had to stop her from eating the whole bag!

I took this picture with my cell phone...not too bad. Wyatt with grandma watching the balloons.

This wasn't even all of them....before we left there were 12 balloons "glowing"

Maddie enjoying the slide.

Uncle Webb and Wyatt seeing the horses.

Just sweet!

The Murphy's!

Maddie sending a "shout out" to someone?!?

Parade

We took the kids to the West Texas Fair and Rodeo parade yesterday morning. We were afraid it was going to rain the whole time but the rain held off until we were packing up to head out. It was a nice cool morning and the kids loved getting to see the floats and animals.

Eating a snack with grandma.

Singing the National Anthem

Watching the parade.

I don't remember what she saw here but it made her giggle.

Wyatt was a little afraid of the loud Fire Trucks.
There's a smile.

Grandma and wyatt watching the parade.

The gang...Noah, Maddie and Britton.

Wow..trying to get 4 kiddos to look at you is hard work...especially when the street cleaner was behind mommy while she was trying to get a pic.

**BTW...Maddie said her favorite part of the parade was the street cleaner!
